I'm delighted with the way this website turned out. James Middlewood has started up his own Integrative Medicine Clinic in Sydney and he was really great to work with on building this new website. A lovely logo, some stylish imagery and I think we pulled together well-crafted and easy-to-understand content that make his offerings very attractive. Well done, James. Great working with you. www.middlewoodintegrativemedicine.com
M & M Accounting Services (of central Akld) have a simple and sharp new-look website this week. Nothing too complex, just a good solid online brochure completed in only a few days. Check them out at: mandmaccounting.co.nz And Classic Travel (of Takapuna, Auckland) and the Manawatu District SPCA are now all set up to keep in touch with their respective customers via easy-to-use, high quality -and free- e-newsletter systems using MailChimp. I'm hoping lots more folk now get to book great travel deals through Classic travel - and that the SPCA can save many, many more kittens. The new design for crystalpayroll.com is clean and simple, creating a clear step-by-step guide through all of the key things a potential new customer will want to know as they review their options for moving to a new, or different, payroll system. It covers data security, comprehensive functionality, competitive pricing, knowledgeable service and reassures trust issues with testimonials and a satisfaction guarantee. It's designed to flow through three fairly long pages of key information, with bite-size text blocks written in plain English and new, stylishly simple and iconic imagery. Feedback has been positive so far and I'm really pleased, not only with how it looks but especially with the way it will lead a prospect unobtrusively through all the key sales messages without swamping them in numbing detail. Fingers crossed now, it should drive in a heap of new business. I'm really happy about the feedback coming in about my recently reconstructed website for Achilles New Zealand. These people do great work in helping disabled athletes to participate in mainstream athletic events and when their old site crashed and died I was more than happy to lend a guiding hand to get them 'back up and running'. The new site is much easier to look after and very easy to navigate - and they're loving the new imagery. I've also had a bit of fun with event promotion and everyone is working hard to make their Facebook messages a little more lively (they post too many without images and this won't do). They do wonderful things and I'm just proud to be able to do my bit, in my own way, without having to run anywhere... I did a little tally up the other day and it turns out I have now written 18 copies of Crystal Payroll's monthly edition of Crystal News. Wow, doesn't time fly. We've evolved the newsletter into a nice simple 3-piece format - with a little bit of 'General News' (where we often give a little something away or promote a system enhancement), one or two 'Tips from the Support Desk' and a brief message to our business partners (mainly book-keepers and accountants). Readership is good (over 30%) and business is booming.
While my father has now written four books about our family history, unfortunately he's pretty much stuck in the past about printing and selling them. I've managed to get him to let me create one that can be brought as a print-on-demand version online, but I'm still struggling to convince him to provide me the raw materials I need to knock the other one's together. Never mind, at least he now has a website tnprice.co.nz (albeit a very, very simple one) that we can direct people to. Gosh, dang this interwebby thing... Yay, Babycasting.co.nz is up and running. This is a nice simple website - and totally created for being found on Google. Search Engine Optimisation is nowhere near as tough as some people make out. You just need to work out which words people are most likely to search for when they start typing in their Google page and then make sure you use those words effectively (and appropriately) throughout the website. Who knew that the word: 'casting' or the phrase: 'baby hands and feet' would be so often searched for when new mums and their doting relatives were looking to create everlasting impressions of their new off-springs appendages. Well, there you go. And it would also appear that: 'baby shower gifts' is searched for all the time too - so it was very important to ensure that this was mentioned on the homepage 'Gift Voucher' promo. |
